Planning, constructing and operating hazardous waste plants and facilities
Efficient environmental engineering is one of REMONDIS Industrie Service’s main areas of expertise. Thanks to our specialist knowledge, we are able to offer a whole range of services covering the planning, project engineering, construction and operation of plants and facilities needed to treat and recycle materials. Complex treatment methods are often required to process contaminated production waste. This is where we benefit from our many years of experience of setting up and operating our own network of plants and facilities as well as from the numerous technological advances made by the REMONDIS Group. We provide a wide range of services in this area – from obtaining the necessary permits, to managing and monitoring third-party providers, all the way through to commissioning and carrying out the final inspections on the new facilities.

Delivering analytical quality assurance with our identification and declaration analyses of hazardous waste
Before we can select the most suitable treatment/recycling method, we must first determine the exact composition of the hazardous waste. Which is why our waste monitoring experts carry out identification analyses on all incoming waste (by taking samples) to check that the contents match the results of the declaration analyses. This work includes the following services: declaration analyses for chemical-physical treatment, analyses for incineration and landfilling, waste oil analyses in line with the German Federal Waste Oil Ordinance [AltölV], wastewater analyses as per the Indirect Discharge Ordinance [IndV] as well as soil, construction waste and sludge analyses.

Producers and owners of waste have to comply with the rules and regulations set out in the KrWG [German Federal Circular Economy Act]. These include waste management, documentation and registration obligations and various duties stipulated by dangerous goods legislation as well as regulations on how waste must be declared. The electronic waste records procedure with REGISTA® – efficient and compliant
Our online REGISTA® portal has been developed so that it is perfect both for the electronic waste records procedure (eANV) and for meeting the requirements of the waste management and recycling sectors. This portal enables you to be in full control of all processes without having to make big investments in IT hardware and offers a simple and efficient way for your business to meet its electronic waste records obligations. Businesses handling hazardous waste have been obliged to provide digital waste records since 2010 – which means that waste manifests and waste acceptance forms, waste management documents and receipts are only accepted as electronic documents.
Packaging and transporting hazardous waste in line with the ADR
The Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) regulates the packaging, securing of loads, and labelling of dangerous goods.
